DL Educator Camp is designed for K-12 educators who work at all levels of school systems who are interested in deeper learning, including classroom educators of all subjects and grade levels, principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, and district-level administrators. 

During the application process, you will be asked to share your role and goals for implementing deeper learning practices. You will asked to select one of three “pods” to join based on your deeper learning journey: classroom practice, adult learning, or system-level change. The “pod” becomes your “home base” -- a place to reflect, push your thinking, test new ideas, and translate inspiration into action. Additionally, you will experience immersive workshops and sessions designed by experienced educators and our featured speakers that allow you to understand what deeper learning feels and looks like. Finally, Ed Campers will work with their peers and pod leaders to produce and share tangible deliverables that will guide their work for the new school year.

Ed Camp 2026 will take place at Lone Rock Retreat in Colorado, a serene 7 acre sanctuary surrounded by breathtaking mountains and lush woodlands, this idyllic setting is designed for educators ready to spark transformative change. Lone Rock Retreat is located one hour and 30 minutes from Denver International Airport. We will help arrange transportation for participants.

DL Ed Campers will receive a Certificate of Completion indicating the number of hours of professional development completed through the experience. Participants are responsible for determining whether their organization will accept the CEUs and for submitting the certificate.
